Please find below the application forms required for progression through the ARAE programme.
Expression of Interest
New applicants must complete the Expression Of Interest Form to receive an ARAE Candidate number.
Upon submission you’ll receive Stage 1 template documents and guidance content.
Submitting an Expression of Interest is free of charge.
Standard Entry
ARAE Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3
Checklist
Standard Entry Application.

- Stage 1 submission documentation folder
- Standard Entry Fee €1,000
- 4no. Passport photos
- Scanned copy of passport or drivers license, to be submitted with the application form.

Advanced Entry
ARAE with Stage 2 Exemption
What is Advanced Entry?
From 2025, Advanced Entry is a new option for candidates with a recognised 5-year architecture qualification (B.Arch., M.Arch., or equivalent).
Eligible applicants are exempt from Stage 2, and participate within a shorter programme running from January to May, instead of January to January.
